Rehabilitation of the existing crossing bridge located on the territory of Ilto headworks starts in  Akhmeta Municipality. The current bridge crossing is in a critical condition and due to the serious damage, its repair is no longer considered feasible. Therefore, the project envisages demolition of the existing bridge and construction of a new one.

The rehabilitation works include reinforcement of the riverbank and intermediate piers, installation of reinforced concrete structures, support pads, anti-seismic supports, anchors and concrete platforms, as well as rehabilitation of the roadway section.

As a result of the project implementation a new, safe and modern-standard bridge crossing will be installed on the Ilto headworks territory, ensuring an unhindered movement of the machinery and significantly improving reliability and sustainability of the infrastructure.

The rehabilitation works on the Ilto headworks crossing bridge are scheduled to be completed in December of the current year.
