“Georgian Amelioration” ltd is carrying out large-scale works for the arrangement-rehabilitation of amelioration infrastructure. Currently, a 2100-meter section of the distribution canal is being cleaned from sediment and vegetation cover in the village of Khornabuji, Signagi municipality. The mentioned infrastructure serves both irrigation and drainage functions.

The works carried out ensure an unhindered discharge of water through the canal that will protect the land from waterlogging, on the one hand  and will significantly enhance water supply on 100 ha of agricultural land area, on the other hand.

The arrangement of amelioration infrastructure in the regions ensures protection of agricultural land plots and stability of water supply.
