According to the General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” Ltd, an unprecedented amount of funding for the recent years -GEL 83 million has been allocated for the rehabilitation of amelioration infrastructure in 2026.

“Such an approach and support toward the sector will play a significant role in the company’s development and will contribute to the improvement of service quality. Our goal is to have as many guaranteed irrigated land plots as possible. This envisages new and/or rehabilitated amelioration infrastructure, which will ensure stable operation of the irrigation scheme and fully meet farmers’ demand,”-the General Director mentioned.
