Rehabilitation of Khvedureti pumping station
“Georgian Amelioration” Ltd carries out rehabilitation of Khvedureti pumping station in Kareli municipality, Shida Kartli region.
Within the framework of the rehabilitation, two pumping aggregates will be installed, pressure pipeline with total length of 1750m, pipeline well and branching (195m) will be arranged.
As a result of the in-progress rehabilitation works total of 450 ha of agricultural land area of three villages of Kareli municipality (Kvemo Khvedureti, Zemo Khvedureti, Chandrebi) will be water covered, thereby benefitting 500 households (about 1500-1600 inhabitants).
The works have been initiated in March, 2015 and will be completed by the end of June. Total cost of the project amounts to GEL 557 723.
Since 2013, total of 24 items have been rehabilitated in Shida Kartli. As of today, rehabilitation works are being carried out on 4 items.
