Georgian Amelioration joined donors’ gratuitous campaign “Donate Blood, Save life”
Donors’ gratuitous campaign “Donate blood, save life” has been held in “Georgian Amelioration” Ltd for the patients of the Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology , who suffer from leukemia. Employees of the company, along with the company management participated in the campaign. The Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology awarded certificates of gratitude to each participant for delicacy.
Various clinics of Georgia, private entities and even patients of the institute are supplied with blood and its components from blood bank of the Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology. Frequent blood transfusion is of a vital significance for patients suffering from leukemia and other diseases.
Blood donation is a safe process, benefitting not only the recipient, but the donor as well. Because the process of blood donation promotes generation of new cells ,that leads to rejuvenation of blood.
Blood, donated by the donors undergoes high quality and wide- range laboratory examinations ( blood group, rhesus, B and C Hepatitis, AIDS, syphilis, hemoglobin) .
