Rehabilitation of Samtatskaro-Pirosmani irrigation scheme
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia implements project for rehabilitation of Samtatskaro-Pirosmani irrigation scheme in Kakheti.
Within the works, the canal shall be cleaned from bushes and sedimentation.
Cast in-situ reinforced concrete shall be arranged on the slopes.Restoration works shall be carried out on the chute and inlet units.
As a result of rehabilitation of main canal and hydraulic structures, water supply shall be improved on 1183 ha of agricultural land area in 2 villages of Dedoplistskaro municipality.
The current works shall be completed in July, 2018.
