Rehabilitation of Distribution Canal of Zemo Alazani irrigation System in village Ozhio
Rehabilitation project of Ozhio distribution canal of Zemo Alazani irrigation system is in progress, which aims to supply irrigation water to 300 ha agricultural land area in Akhmeta Municipality. Within the project, closed irrigation system of 4 km will be arranged. Deputy Minister of Agriculture Mr. Giorgi Chkheidze and the General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” LTD Mr. Levan Dvali got acquainted with working progress. The project, which cost amounts 480 000 Georgian Lari, will be finished in February. As an outcome, the population of two villages – Ozhio and Khorkheli, will benefit from the restored irrigation service.
