Irrigation service will be restored on 1300 ha agricultural land area in Marneuli Municipality
“Georgian Amelioration” LTD of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia implements rehabilitation project of pumping irrigation system of village Shaumiani and main canal of Imirasani.
The project envisages arrangement of closed irrigation network of 10 km, which will provide irrigation water to Daba Shaumiani and 1300 ha agricultural land area of the village Khikhani. For nowadays, pipeline of 4 km has already been pulled out. The rehabilitation project, which cost amounts 2 734 375 GEL, will be completed in 2017.
