Information campaign in Ditci
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Agriculture continues information campaign in order to facilitate to the expansion of modern irrigation technologies. Another meeting was held in the village Ditci of Gori municipality. Representatives of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd made a presentation for water users on drip and sprinkler irrigation methods and their advantages.
This method of irrigation is much more profitable than the traditional flooding method, as it requires twice as little el. energy, water and fertilizers and significantly increases crop productivity.
Levan Dvali-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd, David Oniashvili-Head of Gori Municipality Government, Vakhang Gardapkhadze- Director of Shida Kartli and Samtskhe Javakheti region of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd attended the meeting, which proceeded in the question-answer regime.
