Irrigation water supply will be restored at 110 ha agricultural land area in the village Vejini, Gurjaani Municipality. “Georgian Amelioration” LTD of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia implements rehabilitation works of Vejini canal on 2 km section of Kvemo Alazani irrigation system.
Within the project, culvert headlights and other hydraulic structures for operation will be arranged.
The rehabilitation project, which is worth of 226 749 Georgian Lari, will be finished in October, 2016.
30 rehabilitation projects of amelioration infrastructure have been implemented in Kakheti Region since 2012. As an outcome, water supplied agricultural land area has increased from 6100 ha to 14000 ha.
