Working meeting on amelioration issues was held in Kvemo Kartli
With regard to the amelioration issues of Kvemo Kartli region, Gigla Tamazashvili -General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd has held a working meeting with the State Representative -levan Kharabadze.
Along with the condition of irrigation schemes and existing needs, ongoing and planned projects have been discussed on the meeting, aimed at the improvement of water supply and ameliorative infrastructure that will significantly facilitate to the agricultural development.
“Georgian Amelioration” is intensively working on modernization and extension of irrigation schemes throughout the country. Our objective is to ensure conditions that will be tailored to the needs of local population in each region. Cooperation with self-government institutions plays a crucial role in this process”- Gigla Tamazashvili noted.
As a result of the meeting, priority directions and joint steps, which will be implemented in the near future, have been defined.
The meeting was held at Kvemo Kartli Regional Administration, which was attended by Commercial and Technical Directors of "Georgian Amelioration" and the Mayors of the municipalities in the region.
