Gigla Tamazashvili- General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd held working meeting with “Civitta” representatives
With the support of the WB “Georgia Resilient Agriculture Irrigation and Land (GRAIL) project “Georgian Amelioration” ltd along with the company “Civitta” is working on the development of the billing program tailored to modern requirements.
The program will facilitate to the improvement and simplification of the mechanisms for contracts, settlements, liabilities monitoring and management between the customer and the company.
The work on the billing program is in an active phase. The working meeting was held with Gigla Tamazashvili -General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd and the “Civitta” representatives. The results of the meetings held with various departments of the company last month and the ways for the identified problems solution were discussed. Furthermore, field visits were also scheduled within which representatives of “Civita” will get acquainted on site with the specifics of operation of the Sioni reservoir, Paldo and Kvemo Samgori irrigation scheme headworks and WUO service area.
As mentioned at the meeting, it is important for “Georgian Amelioration” to introduce an effective system of settlement operations, information and financial services, and the accuracy of the data required for the development of water allocation plans in the irrigation service process, which will be enabled with the new program.
The Heads of the Operational Arrangements Department, Water Resources Management, Energy and GNERC Relations Department and Donor Organizations Cooperation Department attended the meeting.
