Repair works of the irrigation canal completed in the village Araflo
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture has completed repair works of the irrigation canal in the village Araflo, Marneuli municipality.
Flash flood in the Debeda River, caused by heavy rainfall resulted in the damage of headrace canal of Debeda headworks.
To eliminate the damage, a new 250m long headrace canal was cut, via which water flows into the main canal and uninterruptedly supplies irrigation water to 450 ha of agricultural land area.
