Works for alignment of irrigation canals are underway in Tskaltubo municipality
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd is carrying out works on Mashveli irrigation scheme in Imereti region, within the improvement of ameliorative infrastructure. On the territory of the village Mukhiani, a 2-km long section of the distribution canal is being cleaned.
As a result of the works carried out, along with the improvement of irrigation service on up to 60 ha of agricultural land area of the villages Mukhiani and Partskhankanevi , the risk of flooding of 50 ha of agricultural land area will no longer exist.
The operation works of the scheme have started by own resources of “Georgian Amelioration” in March and are on the stage of completion.
