Restoration works of drainage systems are underway in Zugdidi municipality
„Georgian Amelioration” LTD is carrying out alignment works of the drainage system in Zugdidi Municipality. Repair and operation measures are underway on the Tikori-Enguri drainage massif. In the village of Akhali Kakhati, collector and water catchment channels, totally, a length of up to 5 km, are cleaned from trees and vegetations, and alluvion. The carried-out works will ensure to increase the capacity of the channel. As a result, drainage services will be restored on 70 hectares of agricultural land area, which will facilitate to increase of abundant and quality yields.
The works that are implemented by the company’s forces, will be completed in March.
