Cleaning works are underway on a drainage channel with a length of 6 km in Ozurgeti Municipality
"Georgian Amelioration" Ltd carries out arrangement works of the Lekiani drainage massif in Ozurgeti Municipality.
On the territory of the villages Naghobilevi, Meria, Khvarbeti, Mtispiri and Shemokmedi, a collector and water catchment network with a length of 6 km will be cleaned from trees/bushes and alluvion.
As a result of the carried out works, the capacity of the canal will increase and the drainage service will be restored on 50 hectares of agricultural land area in the municipality, which will facilitate the increase of agricultural crop production.
“Georgian Amelioration” will complete the cleaning works of the drainage canal in March this year.
