Rehabilitation of Yakublo Reservoir Completed
“Georgian Amelioration” LTD has implemented a project with the amount of 7 million GEL in Dmanisi Municipality.
Within the framework of the works, the dam slope has been strengthened and covered with monolithic reinforced concrete slabs; a protective reinforced concrete wall with a length of 1200-meter has been arranged; electric lighting and electromechanical lifting installations have been arranged on the regulatory tower of the reservoir; Also, a concrete road with the length of 1.3 km has been made on the dam crest.
The carried out works ensure the perfect functioning of the reservoir, which supplies irrigation water to about 3000 hectares of agricultural land area.
The works carried out on the reservoir have been inspected by General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” LTD - Tamaz Mghebrishvili, together with the local population.
