The cleaning works of the drainage canal with the length of 5 km are underway in Senaki municipality
"Georgian Amelioration" Ltd is carrying out arrangement works for the Abasha-Tekura drainage massif in Samegrelo region.
In the village of Nosiri in Senaki municipality, a main canal with a 5-kilometer length is being cleaned from plants and alluvion.
The performed work will increase the capacity of the canal.
As a result, drainage services will be restored on 120 hectares of agricultural land area in the municipality, which will help to increase the production of agricultural crops.
Cleaning works on the drainage system will be completed by the end of November.
