A section of the main irrigation canal was cleaned in Kakheti, on the territory of the village Kurdghelauri
"Georgian Amelioration" LTd of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture carried out arranging works of Zemo Alazni irrigation system.
A section of up to 1 kilometer length of the main canal was cleaned from plants and alluvion on the territory of the village Kurdghelauri.
The works will promote regular water flow in the canal. As a result, the irrigation water supply was improved on 1200 hectares of the agricultural land area of 13 villages (Shalauri, Kisishkevi, Nasamkhrali, Tsinandali, Kondoli, Kvemo Khodasheni, Busheti, Vanta, Akura, Kakhifari, Kalauri, Vachnadziani and Shashiani)of Telavi and Gurjaani municipalities.
