Cleaning works of Zeda Ru main canal completed
"Georgian Amelioration” ltd continues works for the alignment of ameliorative infrastructure in Shida Kartli.
On the territory of the village Sakasheti-Sasireti, up to 3 km long main canal of Zeda Ru irrigation scheme was cleaned from sedimentary soil.
The works will ensure uninterrupted flow of water in the canal. As a result, irrigation water supply will be improved on 2000 ha of agricultural land area of Gori and Kareli municipalities.
With the aligned irrigation scheme the areas of the villages: lower Nikozi, Pkhvenis, Shindisi, Variani farm, Sakasheti, Sasireti, Ruis and Urbanis are irrigated.
