An addition 1015 hectares of agricultural land area will be water supplied in Kakheti
The rehabilitation of the left main chanal of Kvemo Samgori irrigation system is underway in Gurjaani municipality, which includes the restoration of a 4 km length channel with different water distributions and its branches, the arrangement of metal pipes with the length of 25 km, and the installation of various hydraulic structures.
The works are carried out by “Georgian amelioration” LTD.
The project with a cost of 8.7 million GEL is financed from the state budget.
As a result of the carried out works, 1015 hectares of agricultural land area will be supplied with water.
By means of the rehabilitated irrigation system, the land plots of the villages of Gurjaani municipality: Kodalo, Arashenda and Darcheti will be irrigated.
The works will be completed in May 2025.
