Cleaning works of the drainage system are underway in the village of Lashisghele in Guria
“Georgian Amelioration” LTD is carrying out the arranging works of the drainage system of the left bank of the river Rioni in Lanchkhuti municipality.
A 1.7 km length of drainage collector is being cleaned from alluvion, stones and rubbles.
The carried-out works will promote the regular water flow in the collector, and the bed of the above-mentioned collector will be restored in the project parameters. As a result, during heavy rainfalls, there will be no danger of flooding on approximately 50 hectares of agricultural land area, homestead yards, and houses.
The ongoing works, that are carried out by the company, will be completed in February.
