Cleaning works on up to 2.5 km long drainage canal are underway in Zugdidi municipality
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd is carrying out works for arranging Khobi-Enguri drainage massif in Zugdidi municipality.
In the village of Didi Nedzi, 2.5 km long collectors and catchment canals are being cleaned from trees and sediment.
As a result of the works carried out, discharge capacity of the canal will be increased and drainage services will be restored on 35 ha of agricultural land area in the municipality, thus enabling increase of agricultural crop production.
