Tamaz Mghebrishvili- General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd met with the Head of the World Bank “Georgian Sustainable Agriculture Irrigation and Land Project” (GRAIL) -Ranu Sinha.
At the meeting General Director spoke about the importance of multy-year successful cooperation with the World Bank and expressed gratitude towards Ranu Sinha for her support.
The parties discussed the details of the GRAIL project. The mentioned project with the value of 150 MLN $ will be implemented with the participation of the government and the World Bank.
Within the framework of the project (GRAIL), several irrigation and drainage schemes will be rehabilitated and modernized; As a result, amelioration service provision and agricultural production will be improved on the design areas.
The meeting was attended by Lali Durmishidze-the World Bank Irrigation and Land Market Development Project Manager and “Georgian Amelioration” management.
