Irrigation water supply will be improved on 1300 hectares of agricultural land area In Kakheti
“Georgian Amelioration” LTD is implementing the rehabilitation of Kvemo samgori irrigation system in Kakheti. Rehabilitation of the primary and secondary water distributaries of the left main channel is underway in Sagarejo municipality, which, in total, involves the arrangement of a 20.7 km length closed pipeline and the construction of an 11.8 km length reinforced concrete channel. Hydrants and drain wells, culverts and inlets will be installed on all water distributaries.
As a result of the carried out works, water supply will be improved on 1300 hectares of agricultural land area in the villages Manavi and Tokhliauri.
The project with the cost of 9.2 million GEL is planned to be completed in 2024.
General Director of "Georgian Amelioration" LTD Tengiz Nasaridze, together with the heads of the regional service, inspected the ongoing works in the village Manavi.
