Restoration works of the drainage system are underway in Khobi Municipality
Georgian Amelioration" LTD of The Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia" is arranging the drainage massif of Khobi-Utora.
A collector and water catchment canal of different categories of 6.5 km length is being cleaned from trees and sediments on the area of the village Gurifuli, in Khobi municipality.
After the completion of the works, water flow capacity in the canal will be increased; As a result, drainage services will be restored on 60 hectares of agricultural land are and the possibility of agricultural production will be increased.
The works
on the drainage massif will be completed by the end of April.
