Rehabilitation works of 4 km length irrigation canal are underway in Khashuri municipality
"Georgian Amelioration" is carrying out repairing works of the Tashiskari irrigation system in Shida Kartli.
A 4-kilometer section of the water distribution canal is being cleaned on the territory of the village Osiauri. The works will facilitate the smooth flow of water in the canal.
As a result, the irrigation water supply will be improved to 100 hectares of agricultural land area in the villages of Osiauri, Gomi and Agari in Khashuri Municipality, which will enable local farmers to produce qualitative and abundant crops.
Ongoing works on the irrigation system will be completed by the end of March.
