Cleaning works are underway on 4 km length drainage canals in Senaki Municipality
"Georgian Amelioration" Ltd is carrying out arrangement works of drainage massif in the village of Zemo Chaladidi of Senaki Municipality.
Collectors and water catchment canals up to 4 km length are being cleaned of trees, bushes and sediment.
As a result of the works carried out, the capacity of the canal will be increased and drainage service will be restored on 165 hectares of agricultural land area in the municipality, which will increase the production capacity and yield of annual crops.
Ongoing works on the drainage massif will be completed by the end of February.
