Cleaning works are underway on irrigation canals of 3.7 km length in Kaspi Municipality
"Georgian Amelioration" is carrying out repairing works of water distribution canals of Does-Grakali irrigation system in Shida Kartli, in Kaspi Municipality. The canals of 3.7 km length are cleaned from trees and shrubs in the villages of Does and Grakali.
The works carried out will ensure uninterrupted water flow in the canal. As a result, water supply will be improved to 80 hectares of agricultural land areas in the villages of Does and Grakali.
Restoration works of the irrigation canals are at the completion phase.
"Georgian Amelioration" is actively implementing reclamation infrastructural projects throughout the country, in order to increase water supplied and drained areas.
