The Lakbe collector is being rehabilitated
"Georgian Amelioration" LTD is implementing the rehabilitation of the Lakbe collector in Gurjaani Municipality.
On the territory of the village Kachreti, a collector canal of 13 kilometer length, 80% of which was full, is being cleared from trees, bushes and sediments.
Carried out works will facilitate the regular flow of water into the collector, as a result of which there will be no danger of flooding up to 3000 hectares of agricultural land.
The collector serves the agricultural lands of the villages of Gurjaani Municipality - Arashenda, Nanyani, Kachreti and Jimiti.
Ongoing works on the irrigation system are at the completion phase.
