Cleaning works of the irrigation system are undergo in khashuri
"Georgian Amelioration" Ltd of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture is implementing repairing works of Tashiskari irrigation system in Shida Kartli, in order to improve irrigation water supply on 200 hectares of agricultural land area.
An 800 meter section of one of the water distributaries of main canal in Khashuri is being cleaned. The works will facilitate the regular flow of water into the canal.
As a result, water supply will be improved in the villages of Khashuri Municipality - Gomi, Osiauri and Agarebi. Improving of irrigation water supply will enable local farmers to produce qualitative and abundant harvest.
Ongoing works on the irrigation system will be completed by the end of December.
