Drainage system is being regulated in Khobi municipality
"Georgian Amelioration" Ltd is carrying out regulating works of Khobi-Utora drainage massif in the village of Pirveli Maisi in Khobi Municipality. Collector and water catchment canals of different categories up to 3 km in length are being cleaned from trees and sediment.
The works will ensure uninterrupted flow of water into the canal, which will restore drainage services on 25 hectares of agricultural land in the municipality and increase the production capacity and yield of annual crops.
Ongoing works on the drainage massif will be completed in December.
