Improvement of amelioration infrastructure continues in Shida Kartli
“Georgian Amelioration” Ltd has completed rehabilitation of water distributor of Tirifoni irrigation scheme in Gori Municipality.
Within the project a 6.7 km long irrigation canal has been rehabilitated. As part of the works, cast in-situ concrete was laid at the bottom of the canal, reinforced concrete slabs, flumes, inlet box and various types of hydraulic structures were arranged.
As a result of the works carried out irrigation water supply was improved on up to 800 hectares of agricultural land area in the villages of Meghvrekisi, Brotsleti and Tirdznisi.
The cost of the project amounts to GEL 1 244 240 million.
