Amelioration works in the village of Khorkheli
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd is implementing rehabilitation -infrastructural projects in regions.
Currently amelioration works are underway in Akhmeta municipality.
The scheme passing the village of Khorkheli, where 630 mm network is currently being replaced, is fed by Zemo Alazani irrigation scheme.
During the repair works of the water supply system, significant part of the damaged pipeline will be replaced, that will facilitate to the reliability of water supply and significantly reduce the losses. As a result, irrigation water supply regime will be improved on 130 hectares of agricultural land.
The works that the company is carrying out by own resources are near completion.
