Irrigation canal has been improved in the villages of Artana and Pshaveli
“Georgian Amelioration” LTD, in parallel to the irrigation season, continues to reform irrigation systems, in order to improve water supply.
Currently, the works have been completed on the Naurdli irrigation system in Kakheti, on the area of the villages of Artani and Pshaveli.
A section of 2900 meters of the main canal was cleaned from trees and sediments.
The work carried out by the operation program will facilitate the regular flow of water into the system. As a result, irrigation water supply will be improved on 300 hectares of agricultural land area in Telavi Municipality. Residents of the villages of Artani, Saniore and Napareuli will benefit from the restored canal.
“Georgian Amelioration” LTD carried out the cleaning works of the canal by its own forces.
