The drainage canal has been cleaned in the village of Chumlaki
"Georgian Amelioration" Ltd of The Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture implements rehabilitation-infrastructural projects in the regions continuously.
This time, works have been completed in Gurjaani municipality, with the operation program.
In the village of Chumlaki, a 2000-meter section of the drainage canal, near the G-32 distributor of the Kvemo Alazani irrigation system, has been cleaned from sediment, trees and plants.
As a result of the works carried out, 70 hectares of agricultural land in the municipality have been cleared from excess water.
The population of the villages Chumlaki and Kitaani will benefit from the restored reclamation canal.
The works have been carried out by “Georgian Amelioration” on its own.
