Tirifoni main canal cleaning works
"Georgian Amelioration" Ltd. continues to improve the reclamation infrastructure in regions.
Currently, the repair works have been completed on Tirifoni irrigation system in Shida Kartli.
A 6-kilometer section of the main canal was cleaned from trees, bushes and sediments on the sections of the villages of Ergneti and Tergvisi, in Gori municipality.
The works carried out by the operation program will ensure smooth flow of water in the canal, which will improve the irrigation water supply to 2500 hectares of agricultural land area in the municipality.
The population of the villages of Tirdznisi, Meghvrikisi, Brotsleti, Tkviavi, Flavi, Flavismani, Mejvriskhevi, Zerti, Adzvi, Akhalubani and Jariasheni will benefit from the restored irrigation system.
