Repair works are underway on irrigation systems in Kvemo Kartli
Georgian Amelioration is actively continuing reclamation infrastructural projects throughout the country.
In order to improve water supply in Kvemo Kartli, repair works are underway on irrigation systems.
A 4-kilometer section of Mtkvari-Jandari irrigation canal is being cleaned of alluvion and sediment in Gardabani Municipality.
The works carried out by the operation program will increase the water discharge in the canal, as a result of which the irrigation water supply will be improved on 250 hectares of agricultural land area.
The restored irrigation system will irrigate the agricultural land plots of the villages Nagebi, Birliki and the town Gardabani.
The works carried out by Georgian Amelioration by its own strength, are at the stage of completion.
