Kichiki main canal is being cleaned
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd is carrying out restoration works of ameliorative infrastructure.
Cleaning works are underway in the village of Jandara in Kvemo Kartli. Under operation program, a 3 km long section of the Kichiki main canal will be cleaned from sedimentation, trees and bushes.
The works carried out will facilitate to the smooth discharge of water in the canal, thereby improving supply of irrigation water on 3,000 hectares of agricultural land area.
The population of the villages of Gardabani municipality- Jandara, Nazarlo and Vakhtangisi will use this area.
The cleaning works have been commenced by Georgian Amelioration in January of the current year and will be completed by the end of February.
