Rehabilitation of Khevasheni irrigation scheme has been completed
“Georgian Amelioration” Ltd has completed the first stage of rehabilitation of Khevasheni irrigation scheme in Samtskhe-Javakheti. Various types of hydraulic structures have been built in Abastumani, ensuring proper operation of the irrigation scheme. Embankment protection wall was arranged, a bridge was built, and an irrigation canal was cleaned. As a result of the works performed, the irrigation scheme restored will facilitate to the irrigation of up to 300 hectares of agricultural land in Adigeni Municipality.
Davit Tsitlidze-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd got acquainted with the works carried out together with the Mayor of Adigeni Municipality- Zakaria Endeladze.
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd has started ameliorative infrastructure improvement arrangements on its own resources in July of the current year.
