Improvement of amelioration infrastructure is being carried out in Shida Kartli
Improvement works of amelioration infrastructure is being carried out in Shida Kartli. "Georgian Amelioration" Ltd is rehabilitating the irrigation system from Nadarbazevi Reservoir.
The works envisage cleaning of 18 km section of water distribution canals, arrangement of reinforced concrete furrowes and various hydraulic structures.
As a result of the implemented works, 1300 hectares of agricultural land in the villages of Nadarbazevi, Shavshvebi, Khurvaleti, Nigoza and Zemo Rene will be irrigated.
The project, with the cost of GEL 3,287,777 mln, started in September this year and will be completed in the Autumn of 2021.
General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” LTD, Davit Tsitlidze, got acquainted with the rehabilitation works of the irrigation system in Gori Municipality.
