Repair works are ongoing on Tbisi-Kumisi irrigation system
“Georgian Amelioration” Ltd is implementing rehabilitation-infrastructural projects smoothly. This time amelioration works are ongoing in Tetritskaro Municipality.
The main canal going through village Asureti, where the 1420 mm network is currently being replaced, will ensure the water supply to Tbisi-Kumisi irrigation system.
During the water supply repair works, significant part of two-layered damaged inverted siphon will be replaced, which will help to reduce water supply reliability and will significantly reduce losses.
As a result, irrigation water supply regime will be improved on 600 ha of agricultural land.
The works, that the company is providing by its own forces, is in the final stage.
