Drainage works are underway in the village of Zemo Kvaloni
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd is implementing projects of irrigation and drainage infrastructure all over Georgia.
Restoration works of drainage scheme in Khobi municipality are underway. In the village of Zemo Kvaloni, water collecting canals and furrows of m1- drainage massif, with total length of 13 000m, are being cleaned from sediment.
Ameliorative arrangements are carried out on 30 ha of land area.
As a result of the works, in case of heavy rainfall agricultural land area, located adjacent to the drainage massif shall be protected from flooding.
Georgian Amelioration will complete the ongoing works by the end of the month.
