New amelioration projects in Kvemo Kartli
The ongoing and planned amelioration infrastructural rehabilitation projects and operational activities in Kvemo Kartli were discussed by David Tsitlidze - the General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” LTD and Shota Rekhviashvili - the State Governor of Kvemo Kartli, at the meeting with the mayors of regions.
Davit Tsitlidze provided information to the representatives of local government according municipalities, on the projects that are being implemented by “Georgian Amelioration” LTD. Representatives of local government expressed their views on the projects.
Currently 6 rehabilitation projects are underway in Kvemo Kartli, after completion of which in addition 2 900 hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated, while irrigation water supply will be improved for more than 4 000 hectares of land plots.
