Rehabilitation of Khanchali lake dyke is underway
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture is implementing rehabilitation of damaged reaches of Khanchali Lake dyke in Samtskhe-Javakheti.
The project envisages restoration of the dyke section and lining of the slopes with reinforced-concrete slabs.
The works performed shall ensure rigidity of the lake and protection of the adjacent territory from possible flooding.
Estimated cost of the project amounts to GEL 284 000.The works which Georgian Amelioration has started in October, at its own resources are at the stage of completion.
David Tsitlidze-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd together with other representatives of the company has got acquainted with the ongoing works in Ninotsminda municipality.
