Independent expert companies will ensure technical supervision of the projects to be implemented in “Georgian Amelioration” ltd. This issue was mentioned at the meeting held in the head office of “Georgian Amelioration “ltd, where representatives of accredited expert companies were invited.
Considering that large-scale construction and rehabilitation works are carried out on irrigation and drainage schemes of the country, the issue of introduction of effective control mechanisms of ongoing and performed works has been put in agenda, thus enabling “Georgian Amelioration” ltd operatively and effectively implement construction supervision and in case if needed ensure immediate response and undertake respective changes.
After discussion and exchange of opinions with the expert companies number of issues regarding technical conditions, companies’ functions and responsibilities has been specified, after detail examination of which tender for procurement of supervision service on two pilot projects will be announced in the nearest future.
