Meeting with the World Bank representatives
Otar Shamugia-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd and Gizo Chelidze- Head of Water Conservation and Land Management Department of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture met with the World Bank representatives.
The parties jointly discussed future ameliorative infrastructural projects at the meeting held within “Irrigation and Land Market Development” program.
Otar Shamugia and Gizo Chelidze introduced the mission representatives with the investment proposals regarding arrangement of irrigation water reservoirs and rehabilitation-modernization of irrigation schemes in Georgia and spoke about the activities under the Irrigation Strategy Action Plan.
