Refresher training program for ameliorators
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd and Georgian Technical University have developed water conservation certification program. The goal of the project is to prepare employees of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd for refresher training, interest young staff by amelioration system and attract them to the company.
Within the program, 52 employees of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd are undergoing intensive theoretical and practical courses. The employees engaged in the system shall be trained in three major directions, namely:
•Operation of amelioration schemes;
•Soil irrigation and drainage regime management
•Organization of hydro post operation and management of its elements.
Theoretical part of the water conservation certification program is led by Givi Gavardashvili - Director of Ts. Mirtskhulava Water Institute of Georgian Technical University, while Tamaz Chankseliani –Head of Operation Arrangements Department of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd is in charge of the practical part.
