Rehabilitation of Onanuri drainage canal is up to completion
Rehabilitation of Onanuri drainage canal is up to completion in lagodekhi municipality, Kakheti region. The works were initiated in October of the last year. Within the project 4 km long reach of the drainage canal has been cleaned. Consequently, 100 ha of area of three villages of Lagodekhi municipality -Onanuri, Chabukiani and Zemo Nashovari will be used for agricultural purpose. If needed, supply of up to 60 ha of land area with irrigation water will be available from the canal through pumps.
