Georgian Amelioration on agricultural exhibition
On July 7, within the project “Strengthening farmers’ cooperatives in agricultural municipalities of Georgia”, Mercy Corps consortium -ENPARD program implementing agency, carried out working meeting with agricultural cooperatives, service providers, representatives of regional information-consulting service, cooperatives development agency and local government of Shida Kartli region. The meeting aimed at discussion of the current issues that hinder development of agricultural sector, namely increase of high quality production and provision of improved agricultural service to cooperatives by agricultural service suppliers.
On the second day, an agricultural exhibition was arranged, where up to 30 agricultural service providers operating in the region presented own production and offered soft service packages to agricultural cooperatives and local farmers.
Along with other agencies of the Ministry of Agriculture, “Georgian Amelioration” participated in the mentioned exhibition.
